After becoming politically active in the early 1990s, Paul Valone founded and continues to direct two non-profit political organizations and served as president of a third, as well as creating and directing numerous political action committees. In addition to legislative activities, he continues freelance writing and hosts the show “Guns, Politics and Freedom.” Drawing on 28 years of grassroots leadership, Valone wrote “Rules for ANTI-Radicals: A Practical Handbook for Defeating Leftism” as a tactical guide for defeating leftism in both politics and daily life.

An expert on home preparedness and food supply disruptions from natural and man-made disasters, Lori Valone has spent ten years studying methods for gathering and preserving food. Utilizing canning, dehydrating and, most recently, freeze drying, she researches creative ways to add to the long term food supply for both her immediate and extended family. Forrest Garvin is the “Prepper’s Prepper” and has served the survival industry for over 20 years as an instructor, consultant, CEO of Sun Ovens International, and the founder of the nationwide organization PrepperNet. Having served as a US Air Force NCO with the 317 MAC and JSOC SOLL II out of Pope Air Force Base, Forrest leveraged his military experience into a technology and security position for the Strategic Technology Group for NationsBank and Bank of America. He then created several technology startups and an incubator space that led to many successes.
Forrest has studied, trained, practiced, and often instructs various preparedness skills. He is an NRA instructor, HAM General license holder and operator, and Krav Maga apprentice instructor. He is the owner of Greyman Protection LLC and the owner/lead instructor of Carolina Survival & Preparedness Academy in Charlotte, NC. He is widely known as the host of the “Prepping Academy” podcast, where he interviewed some of the most well-known contributors to modern prepping.
Forrest also shares with the community through his three books: “The Preparedness Roadmap,” “The Case for Christian Preparedness: Faith and Prepping for Survival (Christian Prepper Series Book 1),” and “Stand Firm to the End (Christian Prepper Series Book 2).”
Finally, Forrest founded the Carolina Preppers Network and worked to grow it into the national group PrepperNet. PrepperNet is dedicated to providing a platform for preppers to connect and form mutual assistance groups under skilled leaders PrepperNet has provided the training and tools needed for success. PrepperNet currently has 100,000 members across the world and is growing.
Forrest lives in North Carolina, dedicating his life to his family, Christian fellowship, and preparing others for the end of the world.

I am a proud patriot and Navy Veteran. Spent many hours in the sand with some adventurous Marines during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. I worked for a fortune 500 company as a safety officer at one of their 1million sq foot distribution centers in Florida. I developed the training program for their emergency responders and we practiced regularly with local county level first responders. I am a FEMA CERT, Community Emergency Response Training, Instructor. One of our CERT teams was invited to participate in a mass casualty exercise with the Florida Division of Emergency Management sponsored each year by Universal Studios Orlando. I was a volunteer fireman and Hazmat Specialist for 15 years. I completed all NIMS certifications including Logistics, Planning, and Operations Section Chief and Safety Officer and have acted as all under a Unified Command. I have developed and participated in various large scale local, county and state level disaster exercises. From school shooting to an IED on Ball State University. As well as part of the white team during a national level exercise involving a detonation of dirty bomb on the outskirts of Indianapolis.
Chantal has been Stewarding the soil and Teaching others since 2011. Her Experience Spans From Gardening to Farming! Chantal has designed, installed, and maintained edible landscapes, gardens, and this upcoming year, her second farm. From plants to animals, butchering to seed starting, she creates integrated systems that are truly sustainable and regenerative. Hakim Isler (aka the Black MacGyver) is the nation’s premier professional African-American survival expert. A combat veteran, Isler studied at the U.S. Army’s Survivial, Escape, Resistance and Evasion (SERE-C) school before undertaking advanced survival training at several Survival Schools. He is a specialist in combat weapons, executive security, close protection, disaster psychology, and psychological operations; is trained in both asset and event protection; and is certified in emergency management, disaster mitigation, human intelligence, shooting tactics, tactical combat casualty care, and wilderness first aid. Isler instructs at various levels, ranging from training high-level professionals in defensive tactics to teaching kids at his own dojo for 15 years (he is a fifth-degree black belt in Ninjutsu and a Guru in Kali and Silat). His expertise in survival, defense, and escape tactics within both wilderness and urban environments led to his appearances on Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid and Naked and Afraid XL, FOX’s Kicking and Screaming, and Discovery’s First Man Out—not to mention The Kelly Clarkson Show. With a strong belief in supporting community, Isler has developed inner-city youth empowerment programs and is founder and president of The Soil Foundation, a wilderness therapy and survival training nonprofit.
Jackie operates her own permaculture homestead and has grown microgreens for the past 13 years. Jackie has grown and sold microgreens commercially for twelve years to award winning restaurants, CSA's, Farmers' Markets and private customers. She teaches workshops and believes teaching others to grow microgreens can ensure that their families have access to freshly grown indoor emergency produce as well. Jackie is the creator of the Blue Ridge Homesteaders and encourages homesteaders of all levels to join her group.
