Kevin Blackburn- Leeson Strategic

I am a USAF Veteran, lifelong outdoorsman, former Firefighter Medic, Ski Patroler, SAR team Member, and Rescue Diver, and for eighteen years, I owned and ran a commercial and documentary photography business Traveling 275 plus days a year all over and staying safe. This is a sneak peek of just some of my history. In October of 2020, at age 46, I was in the blessed position to retire, and in the Spring of 2021, after my wife (and I apparently) decided I needed to find something to occupy my time, I became a USCCA Instructor I also decided to start teaching courses on Emergency Preparedness, self-reliance, and Wilderness Fieldcraft and I went back to school and studied Gunsmithing, The mechanics of it has always interested me and seemed a good fit for a guy who spent most of his life problem solving and fixing people and things, so here I am all finished with the "official" training (See Certifications Below) and launching this venture in 2022.

Important information for clients.

Lesson Strategic is run on the core values I learned as a child and in the USAF Integrity, Service, and Excellence.

Integrity is just doing the right thing no matter what.

Service Is Service before self

Excellence Is striving for Excellence and perfection in all we do

Welcome

Elizabeth Hawkins, aka Mother Goose, is the City Leader of the Yadkin Valley PrepperNet Group. She has been prepping most all of her life. She is married to Michael and has three grown children, 4 grandchildren. She worked 34 years with the State of NC in Raleigh, and was able to retire with full benefits at the age of 48. Coming from a country way of life, she has done a little bit of everything that goes along with growing up on a farm from working in tobacco every summer, helping to kill animals and harvesting the meat, gardening, and making biscuits just like her Mama did every day. She still grows most of what they eat, is a canning queen, dehydrates, and uses all other kinds of methods to store her food preps. She was once an Emergency Medical Technician via the State of NC and Certified First Aid and CPR Instructor by the National Safety Council, so she has some medical experience as well. She also is certified as CERT Member (Community Emergency Response Team) in her area, which allows her to aid LEO and Rescue when there are issues that require more eyes. She can sew and use to make almost everything she wore. She is a quilter and has made quilts for all of her children and grandkids. She has not bought any commercially made soap in over 30 years. She makes a lot of her own medicines and uses essential oils in lieu of pharmaceuticals. She has 4 belts in Karate, so she is not scared of a fight. Over the course of 2.5 years, she was engaged in tactical training of the use and care of her firearms. Again...she is not scared of a fight should she be presented with the enemy. She holds a General Ham License and loves to cook. She decided to become a City Leader with PrepperNet to teach others to become more prepared .

Hearts and Hands Educational Experiences and Homestead- Wendy

Wendy has been studying all things homestead and primitive culture related for over a decade now, with her interests primarily focusing on the creative and agricultural themes. There is so much to learn!  It has always seemed like a great mountain adventure; with every plateau there is a realization that there is always another level to be obtained, another goal to reach. For more than a handful of years now, she has been building up her own homestead full of chaos, critters, lots of hard work and happiness with her growing family. Heart and Hands Educational Experiences and Homestead focuses on becoming a creative self sufficient homestead and teaching others how to do all of this for themselves as well! Which takes a number of skills and a great community to be successful but obtainable by everyone! Bring back the skills!
