 Hi , everyone my name is Ronald Mangum . I am originally from Columbia South Carolina . I have been a trucker most of my life traveling to 49 of the fifty states. I have been a prepper for as long as I can remember and got in to bushcraft and teaching as I got older . I was a cub master for four years and a scout master for five years I have completed wood badge which is the highest education among the scouting community .I have three children all of which are grown and still fish camp and hunt

I’ve watched the internet grow from a novelty to the privacy nightmare it is today. I started prepping in 1997 and my journey has gone from owning undeveloped rural land to the mini farm where I live on today. In 2021 I created BuyPreps.com to help other preppers find high quality and hard to find products at good prices.

  David is the creator of WNC Bushcraft and Survival. David was a certified Combat First Aid instructor through the US Air Force, and is a 20-year Combat Vet, including 2 tours in Iraq. David has dedicated a significant amount of his life to learning about wild edibles and is an expert in the field.

 R and B Farms is a small farm in Taylorsville, NC, and is dedicated to raising quality grass-fed beef. We use regenerative grazing practices with our cows, moving them to fresh grass daily. When our forage supply is running low, such as in winter, we feed locally sourced grass hay. We never use pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals on our fields. We also do not use growth implants or chemicals, such as pour on dewormers on our cows. Our cows live their entire lives on pasture. We believe in letting cows be cows! We strive to raise beef that is good for the environment and good for people.

Two well-known Extension programs are the Master Gardener Program and 4-H, America’s largest youth development organization for farming and animal husbandry.
