About the event

Herbal Medicine 101

Mama Wendy / Heart and Homestead

Wendy has been studying and using herbal remedies for several decades. She loves to encourage people to regain these lost skills. Skills that kept us all healthy way before big Pharma ever existed.  Basic herbal knowledge is pivotal when we are discussing survival and self-sufficiency skills.  It is a lost art and wisdom that we are losing connection too even though it is one major way we can be empowered to provide for ourselves and our families. We will be focusing on fundamental herbs that can grow in this bioregion and their benefits and uses.  We will use these herbs to create tinctures, teas (Decoctions and infusions), salves, folk remedies, and poultices.  Join us at Fallout and learn about the individual herbs we use, and resources to seek further information about herbal remedies.
